Bill Groenwald began programming computers in 1965 and spent the bulk of
his adult life designing, programming and maintaining computer systems. He
was in his sixties when the tech world finally passed him by and he set
aside his computer skills for glass and wood art.
Glass cutter and scroll saw are now his primary tools and for years has
created pieces for family members. He joined the Arts Guild of the Barrens
in 2017 where he is beginning to create art to show through the Guild and
where he is resurrecting his computer skills to help with the web site and
